Welcome to my Studio Adventures
Studio - my Happy Place
Hello friends - we just moved to San Angelo TX. This town has a very strong art presence and is home to En Plein Air Texas and much, much more. I am excited to be getting set up, searching out new Art organizations, Shows and events here. We closed on our home Jan. 4th 2022 - have just completed a remodeling and have created a studio space in the 3rd bedroom of our new home. The second bedroom has been taken over as my "Gallery" - a place to display my artwork. We were able to complete that in time for my first Studio Tour! It was a success and I appreciate all who attended! We celebrated my "Graduation" from Milan Art Institute's One Year Mastery Certificate Program with a bit of bubbly and tapas! You are welcome and INVITED to visit, just send me an email or give me a call! 325-244-3278 |
The Second Studio Open Hosue in San Angelo! Wine to Sip & Tapas to nibble. Please plan to drop in between 2 - 5PM. Bring a friend!

A bit more about my art endeavors ...
This segment of Debra's Artistic Adventures has been more than rewarding. After studying with 2 powerful watercolor instructors, I decided to expand my skills. The online course began June of 2021. Relocation to San Angelo put the online classes on hold until new studio arrangements were made. Courses resumed and I am have completed the program and I have graduated and their certificate of completion is due any minute. It is not possible to explain all that has been covered. Everything from A - Z! I wanted my mind to expand beyond the obvious - and this was the right course. The lessons demonstrate a technique. We choose what to paint by building sources of things we want to paint (never the same picture as the instructor.) This therefore has exposed Debra to computer / photo manipulation as well. New skills on website construction, the e-commerce requirement forced me to "face my fears and set it up!" I am acutally grateful they required it. This is the brave new area I will conquer and improve upon regularly.
